MAOK – Martin Tesák

Musician improviser, singer, composer
Bratislava, Slovak Republic
MUSICIAN – COMPOSER
“He lets the music flow through him and does not delimit it to specific genres. Maok is open, free, living and creating in the present.”
MARTIN “MAOK” TESÁK
He was born in Bratislava in 1974. He´s got three children and now living in Bratislava again.
Maok’s music heals and inspires.
He plays at concerts, does music therapy, composes music for theatre, for dance production, illustrations and film music. When he gets on the stage, he has no idea what he’s going to play, as being a true hearted improviser. Doing music for music itself, it comes straight from his heart, and he lets it flow free, whatever comes. At some point he plays also some slovak folk music style.

here also wonderful samples from concerts
Maok is a musician, improviser, multi-instrumentalist, singer and composer. But above all, he is a person for whom music is an inseparable part of his life and the most distinct form of his self-expression. His unique style – dreamlike and sometimes even mystical – is instantly recognisable even when you’ve never heard the piece before.
Commenting on his music, Maok reveals: “To me, music is an expression of freedom and love. A way of conveying the wonder that a moment of creativity brings. That’s when beauty is born – beauty that can mesmerize us and open the door into the colourful and ever changing realms of our Soul. Or that can put a stop to all movement, leaving us to dissolve in that single place where emptiness is full – and which is simultaneously the pupil of our eyes. Beauty that can make us feel the pulsating ecstasy of a Heart on fire. Or that can make us embark on a journey of dance and movement, where we are at one with our body and its inner rhythms. Or we just take a nice little nap.”

Maok in team work with editorship Zebra and Cloud:
Maok: “My biggest priority in terms of music is freedom. Freedom in every way. That is why during my entire 20 year-long musical journey, I refused to sign contracts with music publishing houses that would set all kinds of terms and conditions, tying my hands and legs with masses of obligations and interdictions that basically turn a musician into a puppet.
Then one day I met Petr Rokusek and his music publishing house Zebra and Cloud. It’s a whole different world to the one I knew before. Our collaboration is based on new terms, where the greatest significance is placed on one’s word and complete mutual trust. Trust in the fact that no one will do anything at the expense of others in order to gain advantages for themselves. Everything is open, the laws that govern things around here are those of humanness. We’re setting out in a new direction. A direction that has new rules. Rules that we all long to live by somewhere inside, but are stopped in our tracks by fear. That is why I immensely appreciate our collaboration and believe that, together, we will gradually unearth the mystery of the “New World.”

“I feel great JOY, your pictures are very imminent (to me), like they were – by their energy and radiating light – waking up life, power and harmony within people. I love the definiteness about these kind of pictures, meaning that they are so clear with their message. Their infinity of Good and giving out mens to me caress and tuning up. It’s like the author has dissolved himself within the Universe and his art has landed here on the Earth, for us…Thank you! The very first time I had seen the originals in our esoteric bookshop Ritual was the experience I cannot even put to the words. It has to be experienced. But apart of this I recommend to see for example his tarot card deck or angels cards, that function very rigorously and unambiguously from the space. See our interview bellow” :
Hello, dear Ivo, your pictures filling one with wonderful feelings and light. I believe in their harmonising ability, that surely comes from your harmony with the Universe while you are painting. Is it possible to say, how have you learnt to be so attuned with your nature, and whether it has always been like that, or whether it’s an evolution?
Yes, I do paint when I’m attuned and in harmony. All my production has an evolution. I paint since my childhood, but meditation, harmonizing and energetic pictures I paint only after recovering from a difficult illness. I have always been painting depending on what I experience in my life and how I feel.
What is your motivation? Why do you actually enjoy painting these pictures?
I have always been enjoying painting, because I enjoy it, it’s a joy for me and also a life journey. I like painting positive pictures, because I feel good while painting, they charge me with a positive energy, and I wish to forward this energy to other people.
Many good things in life come for free. Makes different when we do see them and appreciate them in our day to day life… Would you share what kind of free and natural aspects you appreciate in your life?
In my life I appreciate Life itself, the fact that I can BE… I enjoy going to nature, spending time with family, working together at our garden, going to a forest. I try to enjoy a present moment.

Josephine Wall
Fantasy fine artist & (an accomplished sculptor)
Poole, Dorset, UK
(Meet Jo personally at the Josephine Wall’s Gallery (UK); we did and it’s ever remarking!)
http://josephinewall.co.uk/index.html
Face Book
FINE ARTIST – PAINTER
Josephine Wall is an English artist who specializes in mystical, surreal-like, fantasy paintings. Enchanting and detailed images cascade freely from her fertile imagination in an endless flow of ideas. The images created on canvas are so intricate and intertwined with colour and story that it can take many viewings of a completed work of art to see all that is built into the scenes.
She often strives to impart a message in her paintings, hoping to inspire in her audience a personal journey into the magical world of their own imagination. Fantasy gives her the opportunity to portray the world as she would like it to be.
Josephine uses acrylic paint, allowing her to paint quickly, creating many textured and colourful effects. She has been influenced and inspired by artists such as Arthur Rackham, the surrealism of Salvador Dali, and the romanticism of the Pre-Raphaelites, as well as the beauty of nature.
Her work has sustained many years of success worldwide. Her images have been published in nearly more forms than can be counted i.e.: prints, figurines, books, cards, puzzles, calendars, mugs, T-shirts…
“Why do artists nearly all have a great passion for, and appreciation of, Nature? I believe it is due to their sensitivity and ability to observe more closely and be open to act as a channel for the energy of Mother Earth”

“As far as the light of fantasy goes, it’s possible to keep discovering the gentle art work of Josephine Wall. My little dream came true when I met Jo and her husband Bob at a spiritual festival, and later on regularly in their gallery in Dorset. I always felt welcomed, free to ask any questions or even watch Josephine painting a new magical story.
The messages she shares in every image are promoted by her whole being. These paintings are so positive that I absolutely believe in their healing power for every soul, consequently for Gaia’s soul.
Standing in front of the originals, I experienced an uplifting energy wave, powerful yet caressing. The very first portrait of Josephine’s that I ever saw was not by the chance called ‘Bridge of Hope’(the picture above), the hope for living at one with Nature. Thank you Josephine. See our interview below”:
Hi, Josephine and welcome to our creative site. I’d like to ask you few frequently asked questions that we can hear nowdays: What are your views on Nature and preservation?
Artists have been given a fabulous gift, but with it come great responsibilities. We have the chance to change the world by portraying images of how life could be and how it should be. No message is more powerful or has more impact than an image created by an artist driven by a desire to preserve all that is good in our world and to vanquish all that is against nature. Yet another theme dear to my heart is to include a message encouraging conservation, as I wish that mankind would do everything possible to protect our precious and beautiful planet, and heal the damage we have already inflicted.
My main concerns are pollution and de-forestation. I wish that man would no longer be ruled by greed, but just enjoy the simple things of life – most of which are free. We seem to be living in a throwaway world where skill and craftsmanship are undervalued. My Gaia paintings attempt to illustrate this feeling. “No More” and “Sadness of Gaia” portray the earth goddess protecting and repairing.
What are your favourite colours?
I have no set rules about colour as I am passionate about all colours and believe that any colours go together, whether they sit quietly alongside one another or resound or clash. I paint utterly by instinct and just have fun.
My palette is not unique. It is very haphazard! I like to paint spontaneously and often surprise myself with the results.
I do have many favourite colours which I am often drawn to, for instance all shades of lilac ( which I often mix myself) and golden ochre which is good for use as a wash to give an all over glow. The only colour that I never use is black. My dark hues are created by mixing for instance burnt umber (a lovely earth colour) with ultramarine blue. I also hardly ever use red. The nearest is burnt sienna or permanent rose.
Many good things in life come for free. Makes different when we do see them and appreciate them in our day to day life… Would you share what kind of free and natural aspects you appreciate in your life?

Aron Gadd
Fine artist, meditation Teacher & Healer
Andover, Hampshire, UK

FINE ARTIST
Aron Gadd is an artist, specialising in highly detailed pet portraits, with over 25 years experience in producing lifelike drawings of family pets, horses and country homes. Aron produces his animal portraits in artist’s quality coloured pencils. His palette consists of around 95 colours, and a finished picture looks rather like watercolour but with greater depth and detail.
To create his animal portraits Aron spends some time with his subjects, gaining their confidence and discussing with the owner the composition of the painting and the particular image they are looking for.
Aron’s sympathetic and unique interpretation of equestrian subjects has prompted commissions of Desert Orchid, Grand National winners, Red Rum, Aldaniti and West Tip, and Carnival, a polo pony owned by H.R.H. The Prince of Wales.
An animal portrait is a wonderful way to remember a treasured member of the family, and can be a unique and personal gift for a loved one that will be a joy for years to come.
Now he has moved into drawing people portraits as well! 🙂
…
ing Aron
“When I look at Aron’s paintings I feel the personality of the animal coming out of the portrait. It takes my breath away; without a doubt it’s possible to perceive the life within.
Drawing an object is great art, and drawing a friend with a soul is an extraordinary spiritual art. Our recent meeting in Andover (UK) only confirmed my first impression, with or without words it was the same; integrity in every vibe. See our interview below”:
Hi, Aron and welcome to our creative site. Being a professional artist you have developed a unique style that produces highly-detailed compositions of animals. Knowing about your spiritual background and going through your cheerful drawings, I wonder: Could you say which of your spiritual practices genuinely connect you with your passion?
Without doubt, meditation has helped me improve as an Artist. When we quiet the mind, we can see what is really there, and not our judgements about things. I no longer think much about what I am doing, I just let go, and watch the drawing happen seemingly on its own. This takes the “work” out of drawing and things flow. I don’t draw a “Dog” or a “Horse” I draw patterns of light and shade, colour and texture, and the picture draws itself.
Meditation also give me the patience to be happy at whatever stage the picture is at. I don’t rush to get it finished, I stay with the now and I am at peace.
Would you say why have you chosen paining as your main area?
I was very lucky from an early age to be able to draw well. In my teens I wanted to be an artist, but when I left school, I was shepherded into an engineering career. After 6 years I decided to leave and follow my dream.
In parallel with this, I was very interested in spirituality and read everything I could. I had a mystical experience when I was about 12 and this sparked a deep yearning to understand why we are here. My Art career and my spirituality are equally important to me but they seem to go in phases. At the moment I do more art, but who knows? Soon the spiritual may take over again.
Would you please specify the area of healing you currently offer? Who would benefit from your practice?
I just call what I do “Healing.” I don’t follow any particular system or style. In fact I do very little, I just go into the silence, open up and allow the intelligence of the Universe take over and do what’s necessary. Healing can have a positive effect on any illness. The results depend on how open the person is who needs healing. Sometimes the results are dramatic, sometimes there seems to be no physical effect but the person’s sense of well-being is improved. Healing can often work best on problems that people have had for many years but will not get better. Healing can kick-start our body’s own healing processes.
Is there something that you would like to draw, but you haven’t or couldn’t yet?
Again, I am lucky that there is nothing that I cannot draw, but I am most interested in animals. My work is determined by who commissions me. I would like to draw a wide variety of dogs but because of the British culture it seems the people who can afford my work are mostly interested in gundogs, so I draw a great deal of Labradors and Springers etc. There are over 400 breeds of dog so it would be nice to have a Weimaraner or a Chow Chow every now and then.

Many good things in life come for free. Makes different when we do see them and appreciate them in our day to day life… Would you share what kind of free and natural aspect you appreciate in your life?

“The very first time I listened to Aron’s teaching was actually through his practical and easy-to- understand ‘Learn to Meditate’ CD. For a beginner such as myself, to be at peace with my ‘rebelling’ mind was a huge relief.
Nonetheless any regular practitioner can benefit from listening to his message; a guiding light through the illusion to the point of realising who we truly are. This meditation recording is exceptional for its natural flow and genuine help. Aron’s teaching is truly a harmonious way of living to our full potential and expanding our awareness.“
